Those are sweet... I love the Nanna pipes, but I just can't get myself to pull the trigger.

Yeah I just saw those yesterday...discovered them in this thread:

Yet another "must have" couple of pipes...sigh:

I don't foresee buying many pipes this year, but I think I'll try to pick up the new Nanna egg and the 9mm that Dock has, along with maybe a couple other Stanwell shapes I really love while I can still get the Made in Denmark ones.

I wonder if these new Nanna's are Italian being as they just came out?

BTW, when the first Nanna came out and was showcased at last years Chicago show, nobody here in the states had them. I called half a dozen US retailers and smokingpipes.com was the one that said "We will get it for you soon and at a reasonable price". I had the exact one I wanted in short order, and it was cheaper than I've yet to see on those Euro sites (plus free shipping). I highly recommend calling them and letting them know exactly what you want and being patient (unless you just gotta have it right now, which I totally understand  ).

I have always liked Stanwell pipes, but to tell you the truth I'd buy one of these Nanna Ivarsson designs for the simple fact that I think she is gorgeous!
There, I said it.

While they may or may not admit it E, I imagine that fact is a significant factor in the decision making process of alot of people who have bought or are considering buying one of them ;)

Ain't nothing wrong with knowing a beautiful well made pipe was made by a beautiful skilled craftswoman, that loves what she does.

I admit since DPG mentioned her pipes and her appeal on a thread one day I been looking at her and her work. They are both food for Pipe Dreams.

Agreed Ed. I didn't mean to imply that there was anything wrong with it at all. In fact, I was most likely projecting a little bit... :D
