Hello from Heidelberg, Germany,

After a five year pipe pause, I am back and look forward to this site. I am a member of TUCOPS {#4871} and in possession of both of Tom Dunn's Volume I & II compendium books.
I a a retired US Army Sergeant Major guy whom after 29 years and multiple moves in different countrys, finally retired in1992 in this great town. So I am an expatriat. From '92 till 2008, I worked as a NAF Civilian for the US Army in Europe [USAREUR] Motor Vehicle Registy, I retired from that job due to poor health of my wife, been married 45 years in January; so therefore I am a full time care giver. Boy, I sure do like NOT working though. Have plenty of time for this great past time and enjoying the good moments we have.

Welcome to the brotherhood, Larry!!!

When I was in the United States Air Force, I was stationed at Hahn Airbase in Germany. Unfortunately, the base has since closed and become a civilian airport. But, when I was there, I loved Germany and her people! The country is beautiful!! And, the people were always extremely friendly and kind to me!! I miss them very much! I also miss the German beer... breads... cheeses... _____-wursts.... and the Volksmarches!!!!

Enjoy your stay here! And, post often!!!!!!!!
