nice looking Willmer - great shape

I'm not going to bid on this, but its a terrific looking clean Willmer in a grade that will probably sell for an economical price. I have eight Willmer estates in my collection. Judging from the grain and AB rating, this is likely to be from their older rating system of AB, A, AA, AAA, where AAA is highest and usually features wonderful tight straight grain. I have no experience with the seller.

That is a nice looking Wilmer.

I have a Wilmer 5002 Bentley from the 1940's which is one of my best smokers, it's a slightly bent Dublin. I purchased int in 1999. I really didn't smoke it too often, back then, because the bit was always oxidizing and it taste like S--t when you put it in your mouth. Finally around 2002 or 2003 I sent it to Kirk Bosi who made a beautiful replacement bit for it. I've been smoking it a lot since then!

I don't know the age of any of mine. The brand is a sleeper though. Great pipes for the money.
