You and me both man. I have officially declared moratoriums on any more pipe purchases twice to myself within the last couple of months and both times within a week or two I ended up buying or commissioning another pipe. My most recent commission order is also a Tinsky. They sure are difficult to resist.

Now that I look at it again, I really think it should have gotten the red cumberland/brindle stem. The standard black just really seems like a lack of follow through and a glaring lapse in judgement on Rad's part. I think I'll pass. :lol:

My debt to income ratio is what I'm looking at lately.

Last 2-weeks:

New tires on wife's car (old ones were past their time)
New alternator in my truck (81,000 miles on my '99 truck, no problems til this year)
New refrigerator (our second. the other lasted 15-years!)

All paid in cash, which means my savings took a hit. Killing me. Probably no new pipes the rest of 2010. But who am I to complain? I am blessed to have over a dozen to enjoy! And a good bit of tobacco to last a while, too! I can be thankful for that.

We just re-roofed our house to the tune of $3K +, my jeep likely needs a differential rebuild and I'm bracing for some medical bills for orthopedic visits, an MRI and potential knee surgery.

Now that I think about it, I really need to make sure I get home before my wife tonight so that I can intercept the package containing a new stanwell and a bunch of tobacco I ordered the other day. Crap.

LOL. I know the feeling. My wife stays at home and gets any package I order. She always says, "What in the world did you get now?" I tell her something along the lines of, "some free samples!" She always knows, though.
