Not sure exactly how not shaving has anything to do with prostate cancer awareness but I will take the excuse not to shave. Who else is in? Maybe on Nov 30 we post pics of the beards from this month.

Sure why not.The wife works for a urologist,she has not mentioned any thing about No Shave November.
I haven't shaved since the beginning of October,so I have a head start on youse guys.

I am going to take a crack at growing a handle bar mustache for no shave November..... Always wanted to try it...

So being that I want to take a crack at a handlebar mustache.... I trimmed and shaped my goatee and started shaping my mustache... I walk out of the bathroom and my wife greets me with "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

I went back and looked at the mirror.. OMG I almost look with him with my hair down!

Cool! I have about three days growth and had decided I was going to grow a beard. Now I have a cause. I'm in!

NO shave NOvember is supposed to work like this, you get people to sponsor you for your no shaving, and then donate the money to prostate cancer. This is supposed to raise awareness and money.

It started in Australia, with Movember. As you may or may not know, a "mo" is a mustache. So men would get people to donate money to them to grow out their mustache for the month of November. But remember this started before the time of ironic cool mustache and the hipster phenom. So mustaches were considered really silly at the time. It got really big in Australia and moved across the pond. But since we don't really use the word Mo, we changed it.

In the spirit of hating on that despicable bunch of convicts I lived among for four wonderful years. I am participating... but I started a month early, and wont grow my mustache in protest. Nor will I shave it for December 1st.
