Nording OCASO 2003

Hello every one. I got on a Nording kick in the early 2000's. And purchased several of them. Just about all of them were great smokers. But In 2003 I purchased a Nording OCASO 2003 pipe. I could not bring myself to smoke it. So I put it up. Now years later I was looking at one of my favorite Nordings and it hit me. I have a couple pipes pipes put up somewhere. So after looking for a few minutes I found them. I still have the price tag on it. Must have been one of the more expensive new pipes I bought back then.

I am having a difficult time finding anything out about the OCASO line of pipes. Does anyone know anything about them? Or know where I can find something out about them? I am guessing they must be a higher end pipe from Erik cause the grain is sweet and the finish is very shiny.

Erik is a swell guy and does beautiful work, but his pipes haven't ever "rung my bell".

Thanks Dramatwist. I really like is designs. One of my favorite pipes is a Nording. Then my 1975 dunhill bent, then my 2005 smokers haven bent lattus meer and several kaywoodies.

Value/price-wise, FWIW, looks like under $100.

Thanks very much you guys. That helped out a lot. I have never seen that pipeida site before. I just surfed around on the for a few minutes. Have to check it out later. Looks like some good reading in there.

I seen that older auction the other day. nice looking pipe nothing like mine though but now I see there might not much interest in the line as I thought.
