That is a very nice cozy looking study. You have a window right next to your chair too! Look, when I smoked cigarettes I didn't smoke in my house. When my wife and I first got married we smoked in our apartment. When we bought our house we smoked on our porch, never in the house. We sold our house and moved back into an apartment. Our two sons are in their 20s now and hate cigarette smell and smoke. We both quit years ago but I did a little experiment. I tried smoking in my chair next to the window but the window has a fan in it. I believe pipe smoke is different from cigarette smoke because it doesn't linger. When my youngest son sits in the living room with me I always ask him if a certain blend smells good and says " Dad, to be honest I can't smell it, you have the fan sucking it out. My wife watches tv in our bedroom all the time and she never smells it. And the bedroom is not far from the living room. My point is, if you put a fan in that window and put it on low, the smoke will not bother anyone plus it won't stain walls or stink up your house, it will suck right out the window. You should enjoy that room dude! Get a fan!
