As I have said I have only been smoking pipe for about 2 years. I know alot of the big name pipes (so I think). But I have got some different ones that I don't know much about. Any and all info would be more then appreciated.
I have got a Captain Browne, Cole Thomas, Midleton, Ades, TV and Wellington.
Just curious about what I have been puffing on.
Thanks and Happy puffing!

Well...someone needs to make a comment here! I'm not sure this is the era to be smoking an 'Ades' pipe. Weird, even if the spelling is different. If Midleton had two d's in it, I'd think it was related to the tobacco lines that bear the same name, but maybe not.

Do a little research via the link below. It's a good resource.

I found the following pretty easily:

Wellington = William Demuth Company (WDC); New York City

I used the search engine there for most of the other names and came up with nil. Maybe you can do better.

Sorry I have not been on in awhile. I thank you for your reply. Yes middleton has 2 d's. That was a spelling error on my part.
As for the others I got about as much as you did. I am curious to know what you mean regarding era of ades however? perhaps ther was somthing I missed in the link?
In any event thank you very much for your reply.

The Ades comment? While I was trying to do searches on the various names I typed in Ades and it kept thinking I was looking for "Aides" stuff and gave a bunch of sites on THAT! Ouch! I dumped that engine and went back to google...better.
