I saw this in the parking lot at work.

How does something like this happen? Look at how high the lip is on the edge?

Yeah good point. Those concrete stops sure would make a difference. I saw this and part of me thought "Holy $@#%! that sucks." Another part of me felt really bad for the guy. However, it did look surreal when I walked up to it.

Maybe some people are just more spatially aware of their vehicles and operation than others. Too many people try and "feel" their way around with parking, and this is why rubbed tires, banged rims and... this... happens. :lol: But hey, then there's those that park and stick their ass or door-side out three feet into the lot/street.

I bet he did it, cursed a lot, decided not to be late for work and figured "I'll deal with it later." Funny thing is, if he continues forward, he's gonna ruin the bumpter/tailgate/exhaust (among other things) of the rear of the truck. Sitting on the tranny like that ain't real good for things, either.

Live and learn, I guess... or... not... :lol:

Maybe the master cylinder on his brakes went out. Not that anything looking exactly like that has happened to me before.

The person probably parks by feel. You know, pull into a spot and stop when you feel the bump. Only this time, the wheels went right up and over the curb. Folks, I don't feel sorry for the person at all.
