For those of you who may be building your collection by buying estates, here is an example of an outstanding Wally Frank capture. I expected this pipe to go higher in price than it did, but then, Wally Frank pipes don't attract everyone's attention.
While some Ebay Wally Franks are outright frightening, the "White Bar" and "Heart of Root" lines would be considered respectable mid-grades by today's standard. There is one exception in my collection, a White Bar that has putty fills, but the other seven pipes have great wood and smoke well.
