Perhaps you Pete aficionados, Swede/Sturdypapa?, can help me out. What is the largest bowl pipe Peterson makes. Google Search says the B42 but that is a system pipe. Trying to find specs on the Pub and the House Pipe. From what I have found so far it seems the House Pipe has a deeper bowl. Anyone have both? I have 2 B42s but they do not hold as much tobacco as my Sav Hercules or my Lorenzo Old Vic. I like a nice big deep bowled pipe for my morning burley fix and I would like another Pete. Any advice or info much appreciated.

This is my XXXL90…I get it out each Christmas and one bowl full lasts til New Year’s Eve.

Just a little Christmas fun. 🎅🏻

IMHO, if you don't want a system pipe, I would look into variations of the Sherlock Holmes series pipes, or one of the XL series pipes. I own a Rathbone, a Moran and a Mycroft in the SH series, and an XL102, all of which have a fairly large capacity, to me anyway. Peterson has released many of the SH shapes in other series which make them a bit less expensive. I also have a vintage 107 billiard and a Millenium Dublin which hold a goodly amount.

Ranger, It looks like the Peterson Deluxe System House pipe has the largest chamber. 2.21” H x .85” W. The system pipes smoke wonderfully, but you have to keep them clean. I Q-Tip the reservoir and pull the stem of the pipe to air out after every smoke. A little inconvenient, but worth it. The full bend P-lip clenches well too. Cowboy Coffee should last you a good long time. I’ve been smoking Gawith & Hoggarth Rum Flake in my Pub pipes and it lasts, lasts, and lasts.

Thanks, I thought it was a toss up between the Pub and the House Pipe. I have 2 system B42s and they both smoke very well. Have no problem with cleaning. I get an hour out of Urban Cowboy in a MM general cob. With a House Pipe I should be pushing hour and a half at least. Thanks for the info.
