I must say that this Peterson Shannon Billiard, which I aquired on Thursday, is the coolest smoke I've ever had. The pipe feels cool to the touch after 45 minutes of smoking and the smoke itself is as cool as an ice cube!

As I write this, the picture, if there is one, didn't quite make it to your post. But strangely, I am debating whether to buy a certain Pete I've had my eye on for some time. Your words may have pushed me over the edge. Thanks a lot--I need another pipe!

I just picked up a Peterson Dalkey. The grain is splendid. I'm sure it's been discussed before, but they must have access to a lot of beautiful briar due to the volume of pipes they produce.

Did I mention how gorgeous that pipe is?
