Pipe cabinet

Some here have shown pics of their new pipe racks, and fine ones they are too. I thought I'd share some pics of an old one. My good wife surprised me with this pipe cabinet some years ago; it holds my calabash pipes, some clays, a couple of meerschaums - all my more fragile pipes. There are some deep bents and wide-bit authors in the end racks that don't fit easily into my other racks. I built the shelf for it, and it's hung over my desk ever since; a good and loyal helpmate. Excuse the dust...

Yep, and a can of real honest-to-God Rattray's Hal o' the Wynd. Not necessarily a favorite but it was gifted to me by someone with a cellar of real Rattray's tobaccos when I told him I was gonna name my sailboat that. I ended up not buying the boat, so I'm saving it for something special, like my first million, etc... If it had been Black Mallory it would be gone by now, I guarantee. I can't bring myself to smoke the Balkan Sobranie; I hope I don't have to will it to someone.

I like the cabinet, the wall paper, the tobacciana and the tins.
Looks like a happy place to me.
And I see both Kyle and PD as being Snuggie kind of guys.
Just not sharing one...

I often considered a Snuggie as a solution to the perfect outdoor smoking jacket. Well, if you're sitting, anyway. :lol: Ash stays off ya, covers the important parts, hopefully meets anti-flammability requirements...

Thank you all for the kind comments. And that is, in fact, a deerstalker which my mother-in-law found in a thrift shop and picked up for me; it's more for display than for fashion though.
