This next pipe is made from Red Pipestone taken from pieces fallen from Pipestone National Monument which can only be done by Native Americans which Pipemaker, John Barrett, is.

The dual circles with dot in the center is John's logo, he used it multiple times on the shank to give it a corn cob appearance but if you find a pipe with a double circle and dot either burned in or stamped on the shank that is one of his pipes.

Keeping it smokey with some Esoterica Pembroke.

Extremely different pipe for sure. Hard to tell, is the shank wrapped around the stem like a cobra ? snake ??

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

Here is a side shot of the pipe Lonecoyote, note the nub of a wooden match sticking out of the bottom left, that is for the pipe cleaner.

Banjo,
Thanks for posting a picture with a better angle. Brilliant design for the use of a pipe cleaner. A stone bowl will never burn thru, just don't drop it on a hard surface and it will last a few lifetimes. Bet it's a cool smooth smoke!!

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

Interesting story and an interesting pipe. Again. ;)

Sante, you must have the most diverse and interesting pipe collection in the world.
