I love PS Luxury Bulls Eye Flake, smoke a bowl or two a day.

I'm still looking for variety and I've ordered a wee bit (4oz) of LNF.

What do the brothers think of this tobacco, please?

I think it is a fine tobacco. It's regular in my rotation. I would think it to be a good beginner tobacco, too. It's easy to handle and easy to get a good, even burn. You know you aren't going to struggle with, or battle, this one. I wish all smokes would be this consistently effortless and rewarding. When I've had a day when nothing seemed to go right, this is the one I grab. It serves me. I don't serve it.

If I have any complaint, it's that I've found it a wee bit inconsistent in flavor. I've had much better batches than others.

PS  navy, bullseye and twist flakes are always within reach of my pipes. Easy smoking, good price and AVAILABLE.

Both the LNF and BF are quite good and age well.

LNF has much less perique than BF and it is sweeter/tangier while BF is more "strawy"

I love PS Luxury Bulls Eye Flake so much I could almost eat the stuff, it never lasts very long when I get my grubby little mitts on it though, I go through it at a heck of a rate of knots.

I tried the Navy Flake, it is a good smoke and is easy going but I much prefer the 'oaty-hay' like flavour of the Bullseye myself.

I love LBF, it's one of the best deals available in the world of bulk tobacco. I thought LNF was a decent smoke, definitely not as nice as LBF though.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. I have a supply of each gathering a bit of age in my mason jar collection. In my last order I noticed the price of LBF had crept up a bit, though not yet enough to discourage my strong tendency toward thrift. They're also visually pleasing tobaks, which is something I appreciate for no especially good reason.

LNF is an outstanding Virginia, particularly considering its price. The perique content is barely noticeable, though. I have pounds of it stashed away. I don't care for the Cavendish center of the LBF, but I smoke LNF all the time.

I find most of the PS bulk line to be fine smoke at a fair price.
My fav's are LTF - LNF - BS - EOS in that order.
John.

I received my first 4oz of LNF and it was a case of Love at first Puff  :D

I agree, it's not LBF but it's what I wanted; something with a bit less perique and a bit sweeter for a change of pace.

About PS products, I think it's some of the finest tobaccos at a very reasonable price

I will place another order for LNF and LBF tomorrow

Ordered 16oz of LNF @ $31.32 and 4oz of Red Cake @ $15.34

Go figure  :D
Now there's an order I can get behind! But I'd have gotten 16 oz of Red Cake too!

 :rabbit:

Cheers,

RR
The Red Cake comes at twice the price of LNF ! What I mean is, is it twice as nice too?!!

And bro' Brew, I must multiply @ 10 = R10 only give me $1

See why I did not order 16oz of Red Cake? (wish I could have)

McClelland Red Cake would most likely be a higher quality tobacco that the PS range, I am certainly not having a bash as PS as PS-LBF is one of my absolute favourite tobaccos but having experienced McC's Christmas Cheer I can honestly say the tobacco in that blend is far superior to that used in the PS blends. I haven't tried Red Cake myself so I will have to step aside and let others who 'know' support or deny my conclusion.

Either way, 4oz of Red Cake sounds like a nice treat to me so enjoy it in rude good health Buddy.   :sunny:

I just love this Luxury Navy Flake!! I've smoked about 3oz of my meagre stock already. To me this is a "sit and puff" tobacco. I can sit for more than an hour, just sipping and enjoying the wonderful taste. It's so full of different aromas and nuances, I just never get tired of it. I need many pounds of this one  :D

I've been smoking through some LNF this past week and a half or so...not a lot of age to it (a bit over a year).

It's pleasant enough and has a very nice taste to it, but I'm finding that I wish the smoke had a bit more body to it. I do enjoy flake tobaccos and love Vas and VaPers - can anyone recommend another Navy Flake similar to the LNF but maybe with more weight to it?

I used to love this blend but it does get a bit bland for me after a few months. I find if I keep it out of the rotation for a month or so then go back to it, it is like falling in love all over again.

How long will LNF keep in the cellophane bags they use inside the full 24oz boxes?
