I just got this in, haven’t had a chance to smoke any yet. But the pouch aroma is GREAT. I’ll hafts go over to Starbucks and get a Pumpkin Spice Latte and then settle into a nice sincere pumpkin patch to await the arrival of The Great Pumpkin. I’ll report back any important sightings.

Blackhorse, what was your opinion after smoking a few bowls? I just ordered a couple of ounces.
‘‘Tis the season, eh?  Tobacco blends are totally subjective...right?  I liked it.

JimInks says it way better than I ever could...

Pumpkin is the star topping, and the various spices (cinnamon, nutmeg and all-spice) contribute in an important secondary role. The tobaccos underscore the toppings, though you’ll notice them just a little more after the halfway point. I got bare hints of vanilla from the black cavendish, honey and toast from the gold cavendish, and very slight hay, citrus Virginia notes. The nutty, molasses sweet burley is also sublimated, but stands out just a little more than the other tobaccos. A hint of vanilla is also in the topping. Won't bite, or get harsh, and is light on the nicotine. Burns at a moderate pace, cool, clean and creamy smooth with a consistent flavor, though it may benefit from a slight dry time. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl, but no goop. Needs an average number of relights. Not quite an all day smoke, but one that's repeatable.

If you’re looking for a Fall/pumpkin/spice blend you shouldn’t miss out on Straus Tobacco’s Sleepy Hollow. Only sold for a few months in the fall...kinda like Peretti’s Thanksgiving Day. Those are my big three special Fall only blends. Be warned...the Straus & Peretti blends aren’t cheap and I think 4oz is a minimum purchase. Check out the review site and be thinking about October 1st.

Hmmm.

Speaking of this flavor, what are your thoughts on Sleepy Hollow?
I thought Sleepy Hollow was pretty good, back when I could find it.

Pumpkin Spice tobacco? Sounds interesting!

I'm not a pumpkin spice fan, but maybe it's good in tobacco!  I'll have to give it a try.  Hey Jack, it's good to see you posting here. How are you doing?
Thank you! I am doing much better.

I've tried Thanksgiving and Sleepy Hollow. I like both of them, especially Sleepy Hollow. I might have to order some soon.
