Hey Woz! It's very nice. I'll also pass along my condolences on the crack, but it sure looks like nice craftsmanship in all other regards. I'm curious about the large diameter mortise/ferrule. It looks like it would be easy to keep clean, but are there benefits in the performance of the pipe as a result?

Hi Dottleman. Thank You! You are talking about this part on the part of the shank connecting the mouthpiece? That is normal connecting not "army". Flue have 4mm (0,16") diameter over the entire length.
