Thats what I call it, seein's how Natch sent it to me.
Its a very nice pipe, italian made i'm thinkin. it said "Aldo Bruyerre" on the shank.
Anyhow, its a nice smoker, and quite special to me , as it came from Natch, who has been such a nice and generous person, to me and obviously to others.
So, it is a keeper for sure. My family even knows it as "My Natch pipe".
Anyhow, i decided to refinish it.. all by hand might I add.
So far, its been through 320 grit, 600grit, 1200 grit, and then some micro fine chrom oxide sheets..(the last of which just seems like paper with no grit)
I got her shining good, then I gave it a once over with "red mahogany stain"
I dont have carnuba wax, so I use beeswax,,,and its had 4 buffs with that. (by hand) using a fleece cloth.
I plan on doing the beeswax rubs, till it holds its own.
Anyhow, Heres to you Natch ! and Thank you.
