Hello to all you Brothers and Sister's of the Briar,
as the post title infers, I am a fairly recent canuck addition to your boards.
"fairly recent" because I signed up about two weeks ago but spent time reading old posts and ongoing discussions to get acquainted with the board before I overcame the internet shyness and made a post.
So, that said,
Hi?
- Jef

Welcome to BoB! Glad to have you around. What part of Canada are you from?

Welcome Jef, I'm glad you decided to start talking! One sided conversations are so much effort... anyhow, welcome and well met!

Greetings "Gravel", I'm from British Columbia, where the scenery is beautiful and the pipe tobacco expensive. (30+ dollars for a 50gram tin of Erinmore Flake.)

I rather enjoy the board so far, after lurking for two weeks I felt mostly comfortable announcing my presence here.
(I just feel awkward joining an existing community where I know no one.)

And thank you Greyson, this is making it feel less ackward already.

Welcome to the forums, Jef! I hope you enjoy posting as much as you did the background reading! :face:

Thanks DrT,
it may take me a bit to get into the swing of posting, I still feel nervous about it for some reason, but everyone has got to start somewhere.
In the two weeks I spent reading post before I made one, I got a nice vibe from the community here, so I think I'm gonna love it.

Welcome to BoB, no need to feel shy in this community, we welcome everyone. Only way we will get to know you is through your posts so please feel free to join in brother. Everyone here was new to the forum at one point and we were all made welcome rapidly by this brotherhood.

Welcome to the forum!

No need to be shy... It's a great place. Most of us are quite friendly :p

There are some folks who post rarely but usually excellently, there are others of us who post a lot, and some who seem to live here -- all are welcome!

I don't frequent the Welcome Wagon as much as I should, but I noticed that a fellow Canadian brother has come about so I had to stop and say hey!

Welcome fella. :)
