Anyone tried one? I love Savinelli's, never had a bad one. I am interested to see if they smoke as well. My understanding is they are made by Sav but are less expensive.

My brother has a Rossi that picked up for a song. He says it smokes well, but took some breaking in before he could really get the best taste from the tobacco - once he got it to that point it's been in his rotation pretty steadily.

But that's just one guy with one pipe, so who knows?

I am hoping they are like the old Savinelli/ Baronet pipes, of which I have 2. They smoke fabulous and were super cheap.

My understanding is they were a second line for Savinelli having fills and such but made from the same Corsican briar as the other Savinelli pipes. Good value for the money.

I've got a Rossi prince, maybe for 2 - 3 years, I don't smoke it nearly as much as some of my other pipes, but that's not a comment on the pipe. It smokes well and looks just fine.
