Savinelli tie

This tie was given to me by my stepfather several years ago, which he got from his father, a pipe smoker. I'm told he favored pipes but also smoked cigars and cigarettes on rare occasion, saying of cigarettes that he could only taste the paper. It's a skinny vintage tie (the owner having died in the '70s it must be pretty old) that reads "Savinelli 100% pure silk hand made in Italy." I often like to wear ties, though paisley is my usual. Note the pipe and pipe tool design which comprises the diagonal stripes. Seldom do I wear this one, but I'm proud to have the pipeman's tie among my collection.
