I cant believe someone did that on pourpose. All thats left is dottle. Maybe he or she just wanted to clean the top up but could not get it square as hard as that is to believe. MIKE

I think I could've saved a few more millimeters than that. Of course, I can be kind of a perfectionist at times. Maybe this pipes last owner was to; he filed down a burnt rim, realized it wasn't quite level, filed off a bit more, and so on. I could see myself doing that on a bad day.
