Whoa. The grain on that pipe is outstanding!RD":1nqr6tte said:I agree, I really like that one.
I only have one dublin - this old Le Nuvole. I think the straight grain suits the dublin shape really well...
I'm glad you brought this one up David!UberHuberMan":p4ilu0lb said:Whoa. The grain on that pipe is outstanding!RD":p4ilu0lb said:I agree, I really like that one.

I had meant to voice my astonishment over the obscenely gorgeous straight grain on this pipe, but got distracted.
This is no ordinary grain, jeez!

Who is the maker on that first Dublin? Is that a Northern Briars pipe?
I really have no dublins to speak of (except for one Brakner bent dublin that I just got, that I have yet to refurbish) and I'm really starting to like that shape.
I wish I could remember who the maker is. It is one that I restored, refinished, and rusticated. I believe it is a higher end pipe, and sometime today the name will pop back into my head. No stampings, no stem logo, so.............................Ocelot55":xar35xf1 said:Ooooh! What's that center one?
