Was browsing on the IPPC site and found mention of some new Petes. One is a wonderful classic brown sandblasted ( not rusticated as they have been doing so many these days) Billiard in a commemorative called the "Maigret" after the famous pipe smoking French detective created bt Georges Simenon. The other is a whole new model series in a reddish/brown BLASTED finish !!
Here's a link that shows both:

Some new stuff to Jones over from those leprechons in Dublin :p

Any pipes that are only released in the EU can be purchased by Americans by emailing or calling direct to the Peterson shop in Dublin. They have pretty darn good prices when dealing direct with the company.

Happy to hear that shop is still providing this service. It's been a long time since I dealt with them, but as I recall their service was very good and their prices (free of taxes) was reasonable.

The Marguiret series looks too much like the Rocky Donegal for my taste but the Kapries line in the 999 model sure looks attractive. Is that a Cumberland stem? (hard to tell)

Someone else posted a Pete recently that had a "Fauxmberland" stem; I guess it's acrylic. (Yeah, I made that up.)

I tell you what though, the 999 is nice, but that B54 is really cool looking. Very different.

Fauxmberland, Kyle. Really? ...I like it! :D

I'm really diggin those Kapries, especially the X24 and the B53!

That was another one I like, but I'm a little undecided. A diamond shank on a billiard bowl? It's different. And I like different. I'm just not sure how I like the shank panels extending that far to the base of the bowl.

Wow, those are the nicest pipes coming out of Peterson's I've seen for a while! I love the Military bits. Are those the only styles available?

Edit: Yes, I found the other models. Everything except my beloved 264 shape! :(

That B53 is also right up my alley. Those are the nicest Pete designs I've seen in a while. Might just have to start saving my pennies. Hopefully we will be able to get these in the US.
