Stanwell 186 Update -- Gadzooks!

What's up Brothers! I can't believe I just said gadzooks, but I did...

I finally made a decision and pulled the trigger on that Stanwell 186 that I mentioned in another thread... I got it in the Legend finish, and man, is this one a looker. It's a medium-small pipe, as I hoped, and has very nice straight grain (surprisingly nice, actually) with a rim that is schweetly spackled with bird's eye, hence the Gadzooks!!! I am at work now, fixing to go smoke said pipe in a matter of seconds, but I will post some pics tomorrow. Thanks to all who responded with comments about this shape; I really like it.

TB, the #186 is by far my favorite Stanwell shape. I have one in the Rondo line.

Oops... I meant to say that I got the Stanwell #217... though I am now looking at the 186 for my next PAD attack.

The #217 is a nice shape but I still like the #186 the best. I think once you own one you will agree.

I'm with Just Pipes on this. My 186 is highly favored in my rotation. It gives a wonderfully cool and dry smoke.
