Can someone comment on Stokkebey's 703 burley and 702 Virginia? I'm looking for tasty but as non-biting as it gets while still having flavor and maybe aroma. For example i like Blood Moon.

What drew you to look at the Stokkebey blends? If it were me I’d go for something from Uhle’s or those characters in Boston.

If you like BRM I would suggest trying 4 Noggins Hobbits Weed. I find it much more palatable than BRM.

If you liked burley, try Velvet tobacco has a little cherry taste and other flavors but soft palate. Another one is Davidoff Danish taste the burley with a hint honey, figs and maple.

Stok. 701 and 702 are both one dimension taste. You could make your own blend with either Velvet or Danish.

Uhle's Perfection is about as good a burley as you will find.

You can also consider Granger which has been made for decades and only for pipe use whereas other were for pipe & roll your own cigs. 4noggins sells it bulk and tub.

On Smoking Pipes site, 702 is listed as light burley. I was going to get some.

In 2009 I had a discussion with Puff daddy about Uhles 00 vs Stok. 702. We came the same conclusion they were both and same and cheaper at Stok. Recently I saw was Newminster 702 and had the same as Stok. in the top page tobacco reviews.

I thought Uhle's was good choice for Burleys but Stokkebye was a little better with bulk Virginias and Vapers. Been a while, so things could have changed.
