Hey fellas, I was filling up the car with gas after church today and saw a little sign on the pump advertising these BLK pipe tobacco cigars, in cherry and smooth flavors. Just wondering if any of you have tried them. Normally I would completely ignore anything like that, but PIPE TOBACCO caught my eye. I figure its just normal SS tobacco with a heavy cherry casing.

But seeing this did make me think of something else. Not too long ago, I found a website that was selling premium pipe tobacco cigars, but now I can't find it for the life of me. My assumption is they are handmade cigars that you would have to punch or cut yourself, but filled with pipe tobacco so they're not as stout and raunchy like most cigars. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Years ago my dad tried some Swisher Sweets, and said they were horrid. The pack they came in has a disclaimer about them being made with Tobacco and Non-Tobacco material. If you want a cigar, get a decent cigar, if you want pioe tobacco, get pipe tobacco.

I've tried some of the Backwoods smokes that smelled of pipe tobacco. They always smell good but taste like crap after a couple of minutes.

My grandfather solved the problem of Dutch Masters paper ingredients: he chewed the end of cigar off, and I guess swallowed it, and progressed through the cigar with the same technique.

My grandmother wouldn't let him smoke in the house, so that was his solution. I think he enjoyed chewing a cigar as much as he liked smoking them.

The SS Pipe Tobacco Cigarillos aren't bad, and I really like the simplicity of 'Backwoods' cigars on occasion.

If you truly want a good Pipe Tobacco Cigar, then try 'John T's' Pipe Tobacco Cigars. They come in different flavors, but I like the 'Cappucino' the best - great room note and good taste as well. A lot of good Cigar/Pipe shops carry these. If not, the shops can order them.

You can also order them yourself online, as many Online Shops carry them.
Of course, you can always buy them direct.
