OK all y'all...take a piece of advice and use the link below to bop over to the DIY section and see what a fellow BoB bro has done!

There's also a thread that deals with the making of it...all eleven pages of posts and comments, etc. About 85 hours worth of solid effort...so at $10/hour...WOW!

Understand that this is not a kit pipe. He did the whole 9 yards...down to shaping the bit...drilling the strummel...and it's his FIRST PIPE. Perhaps most amazing (to me) is the staining. Of course the grain has a little to do with that look! And of course all the sanding and polishing too. But I do believe the boy has talent...and the ability to keep on keepin' on. Pretty damn fine.

Truth is...I'm proud of you, ya little mugwump. Heck...I'm sure we all are! It's nice to know the kind of guys that 'member up' around here are cut from such rare cloth. It's one of those things that makes us all just a little bit better. But..you know...just sayin'.
