There's also a thread that deals with the making of it...all eleven pages of posts and comments, etc. About 85 hours worth of solid effort...so at $10/hour...WOW!
Understand that this is not a kit pipe. He did the whole 9 yards...down to shaping the bit...drilling the strummel...and it's his FIRST PIPE. Perhaps most amazing (to me) is the staining. Of course the grain has a little to do with that look! And of course all the sanding and polishing too. But I do believe the boy has talent...and the ability to keep on keepin' on. Pretty damn fine.
