This Pipemaker's given name is Jean Christophe du Toit, his pipes are known as Pietenpauw Pipes. It is this pipe he named Just 1, a rusticated Egg that appears to be held by fingers in a smooth diamond shank and stem, that he made to prove to himself he could do it just once that drew me to his pipes.
He literally did not believe anyone would purchase it but when I did he was shocked. We had a few emails back and forth finding we were both fishermen and when the package arrived there were two pipes inside, the Just 1 that I purchased and a gift of his personal fishing pipe which I posted in the bamboo shank group. Having no problem keeping it smokey with Mac Baren Virginia Flake.
