Chilly start with a breeze off the ocean which is 56f and wicked low humidity just how I like it.

Popped a 10 y/o tin of No. 22 Virginia Flake and keeping it smokey with the other MM Monogram, a bent with an ink stamped hardwood shank.

The other one I have has a real cob shank and I would guess that is from the 60's, this one has the ink stamping to look like cob and I'd say that is from the 70's but I can't be 100% on that.

Fishnbanjo; Those pipes came with two different types of stems, one with a block white M and the other did not have the M. I am not sure which one is the earlier. I know that those are some really good MM pipes. In the last year I have been able to purchase four of them new old stock.

Both have the block white M on them but I have a Lovat style with the same ring that has no M on it and alway thought it was equal to the other two in quality but having never seen another MM Lovat I figured it may been a prototype but now you have me thinking otherwise, interesting information, thanks.
