My single, solitary Dunhill, an LB billiard junk shop acquisition.  It's been a little ill-used; the rim shows some rough tapping out, and frankly most of the stamping has been worn or polished away (the deplorable condition of the stem is all me however).  The white dot was absent when I found it but a bit of white paint filled the void; I mean, what's the use of having a Dunhill if no one knows it's a Dunhill, right?  Despite the amount of wood it carries it's well balanced and quite comfortable in the mouth, and it does provide a cool smoke.  Here it is on a recent nature trail stroll with a bit of My Mixture still present...

It just looks like a pipe that has been enjoyed many times. That's what they're made for. Good on ya!

It has that PATINA we all love !! Nice Bruyere!!

If you're going to have only one Dunhill, the LB is the one to have. And I agree with the consensus here: patina is cool, heavy usage is cool, workhorse pipes are cool. I like seeing them, excluding the ones that are downright nasty, of course. There ought to be a thread on this forum for best patina, come to think of it.
