Being a fan of Boswells pipes, I ordered this the other day. It is out for delivery on the brown truck :)

I'll get pics up of it in hand over the week end.

Looks great Brad - I hope you don't have to wait too long for the delivery.

The photography is fantastic - makes me truly shamed of my efforts.

Boswell makes one darn fine pipe, let us know how she smokes and congrats.

I really like the grain on that pipe! Congrats on a fine addition to your collection!

I always love JM's Rhodesians, I love the stout look. Enjoy!

Oh Jers, please don't be fooled. Those pictures were taken by someone with much better photography skills than I have. You will see my poor photos below.

Yep - I did realise that you couldn't photograph a pipe that hadn't been delivered. :lol!:

It was the professionalism of whoever did take the photos that made me feel a bit shamefaced at my efforts.

Has the eagle landed?

So I got called to drive to West Virginia late Friday morning and had to wait until today to get back home. My pipe was waiting for me.

This is how Boswell ships his product. A very nice box.

Front of the box.

Opening it up. Tissue paper wrapped inside.

Finally open, as always, a pouch protects it and he sends a new tool and cleaners with every pipe.

And we are open.

A very nice pipe and I am pleased. I am going to light it up this evening with some Nording Labrador.

Enjoy that first smoke. Boswell pipes typically take a while to break in, so be patient. But when they do, they're great smokers.

That's a beauty. I do like their rustication quite a bit. I am on a mission to buy one Boswell a year. I really like the way they smoke. However I do agree with riff raff. I have 2 Boswells and I am still somewhat breaking in the first a 2011, and I am nowhere near close to breaking in the second, a poker from this year.

Lovely looking pipe - enjoy...

Regards

Jers
