I am an abstainer; I hope I don't fall off the wagon while working on this old pipe. I am here to try to find out about the threaded mouthpiece (missing) on this pipe. Not common to be threaded it seems.
I will start a thread on it (no pun intended but I will leave it in). What is the correct forum to do this in? I saw a couple that could be the one; where does the most technical building and repair take place?

Even a verbal description, especially any stamps or markings would be better than simply “this pipe”. I’ve had a few low cost pipes that had a metal stinger and the mouthpiece screwed into the stem, or whatever.

Note: you might try doing a search here, based on appropriate key words…

That's excellent. Thanks.
I will send a picture. I will try tonight to get some.
Apologies for the tardiness.

Moved to most appropriate section…as requested.

PS: welcome.
Where did you move it to? Oh, I get it now. You moved the whole thread to the Pipe Techniques Forum. Thanks

Is there a way to change the title of my thread from 'Greetings From Alberta' to 'Threaded Mouthpiece/Stinger or something like that?
Thanks
