Many people look for blends that are cigar-like or go for blends that contain cigar leaf. However, I would like to recommend Three Nuns to those cigar lovers out there. I have always been a fan of Punch cigars. They have a spicy, dark finish to them that can't be beat. Having smoked a number of tins of Three Nuns I find it to be very similar to the tastes and feelings I get while enjoying a Punch cigar. The finish is almost identical. Does anyone else out there have the same impression?

Three Nuns is pretty high on my list of favorites. I honestly never thought of it as similar to a cigar, but I don't smoke many Punch cigars, so I can't really make the comparison. Thinking about it in hindsight, it does have some similarity to the cedary spice kick I sometimes get off a cigar like a Pepin Cuban Classic, with the big difference being the cigar kick only last a few puffs and 3N delivers the whole bowl. Interesting observation Psmith, I'll have to pay more attention during my next bowl.
Mike.

The new 3 Nuns reminds me of Wessex Campaign Brigade more then anything.
Not something I can smoke all the time but, it's good as a change ever so often.

Its amazing how different our palates can be and how we can all taste things differently. I had read many reviews and impressions of Semois tobacco and yet after finally receiving some, my impressions were totally different. I love it, but its way different than what I expected. I don't seem to tasting what many others tasted. The wonders of pipe tobacco!

I don't think I've had a Punch, and if so I don't remember it, but 3N definitely strikes me as cigar-like in a good way. It's deep and smooth and a bit earthy, with a bit of that KY woody smokiness.
