Well I did it !

After some input from you folks here I've just put in my order for my third new pipe in over 20 years. I just got off the phone with the nice folks up in Boston and have ordered one of the Straight Grain Seconds J.L. Peretti pipes . I ordered a Bent Bulldog w/Saddle Bit per the photo I've attached from their site. Since they are supposedly made by the same folks who made pipes for Edwards, it is almost a twin for an Edwards #720L I bought over 30 years ago I also added an order for 4 oz of their Oxford Flake which I'll use to break it in!! At my age and the number of pipes I currently have, I really don't "need" another ! Oh well

The notion of "need" went out the window the day the pipe makers convinced us we weren't suppose to smoke the same pipe over and over, day after day. :twisted: Good looking pipe, Monbla.

You're showing your age now ! It's not called senility anymore! The new term is geriatric dementia As my daughter told me on my 60th b'day, " ... well daddy now you are officially an old fart ) I like that! Has a certain "ring" to it :cheers:

Very nice looking pipe. I found it funny you saying at your age you don't need another pipe, I have a friend that turned 85 a few months ago he has over 300 pipes and he is always saying the same thing right after he buy another one.
