I am currently smoking my third or fourth bowl of it in a Ron Smith Rhodesian as I speak and the perique is definitely the lead actor. It is a high quality blend, no stems or unsightly pieces in the mix. It is strong in nicotine and very satisfying, if not overwhelming, depending on your tolerance. The flavor is smooth and enjoyable and it burns well right out of the tin. It was nice to try for a change, but I won't be buying any because I tend to like burley-based blends more than this blend.

Thanks. Sounds like I'll be buying some. I'm intrigued by the idea of a blend with that much perique and love a strong nicotine hit.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2013 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth 1960 Dunhill DR 137 group 4 root briar canted dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. It's still cold and rainy, and Daisy the Feral Princess snuck in the house when I went to feed her and Tomato the Brave. Guess she had enough of it, but she didn't have enough of the wet food on Sleepy Suzy's plate so she asked for more. Suzy wouldn't like that, but she's snoozin' on the coach, so I let Daisy eat her fill. Watching the Braves-Padres game, and getting ready to clean a few pipes.

Finished work for the day, fed the ferals, and I'm a quarter of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This was the original 515 that Basil Rathbone smoked. I'll probably end the day with this smoke if I get most of the things I have to do completed.

Happy Easter,
Smoking a Bari Wiking extra long bent Rhodesian with Virginia slices and a Martinson k cup. My back has been hurting most of the morning from installing fence panels yesterday! I am enjoying the peace and quiet before my daughter arrives with my 6 grandchildren for Easter. Chilly morning 36 degrees here.

Happy Easter Sunday friends and fellow BoBs. Trying my first smoke in a day or two. I've been really bunged up with hay fever. So I have been giving the pipe a rest. But now im filling a small bowl of Rangers awesome Hobbit Weed in a Savinelli Oscar Tiger 626. Watching Yul Brynner act Chartlon Heston off the screen in the Ten Commandments. Looking forward to the Sunday Roast. Have a fantastic day everybody.
