Having Rattrays Jocks Mixture into a Sasieni 4 dot 1/2 bent pot with Cream Sherry in the garage nook. Had a monsoon rain storm blow through earlier which I'm sure is bringing out the gnats even though I sprayed the patio before the rain. My last smoke for today. Good evening everyone.

First Ken Byron order showed up, I love the jar stickers he sends along, and thos red virginia is extremely smooth and flavorful, 5 stars so far!

Got a chuck roast 50% off so its beef tacos tonight after some braising on the grill. 20230815_200234.jpg20230815_200144.jpg

Red with Dark Fired in a Charatan's Make Executive. My friend from high school and I ended up downtown for dinner and beer, it was really good catching up with him. After we parted I walked around and ended up at the library, a nice well lit place for a smoke. Even though I gave this pipe a good salt bath, you can tell the former owner like smoking aromatics. But I love the Tennessee in this pipe. I think I know where I'm going to smoke my first homemade pipes when they're finished, I've got a few spots downtown that I like. Hope you are all having a good night. 😀

Moments after I posted my last smoke this afternoon, fierce storms knocked out the power to over 30,000 residences today including ours. Finally came back on a little after a half hour ago. Just glad we didn't lose any food. Half way through this bowl of Sutliff Presbyterian in a straight dark brown and tan rusticated Peterson 2023 Saint Patrick’s Day 264 Canadian with an Irish flag colored ferrule and tapered black acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Did a little snacking and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a black sandblast PSB medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 228/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.

Last smoke of the day is Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend.

Good morning,
Starting my day with a Rusticated Pete Strand,Sutliff rum/maple blend and an 8 o`clock k-cup. I guess the storm was not too bad last night (I slept thru it!) My yard does not look any worse than it did before. LOL! Humid, rainy day here.

Good Morning!
I won't complain about the weather or bugs since I would have to greatly exaggerate to be in the same league as the rest of the group! Chores are done, the coffee in the serving Thermos survived the night a I enjoyed last night's Ashbury so I dried some and filled up a Rob Roy. I hope everyone has a better day today!

After continuing to break in the new pipes this morning. I'm now filling a Savinelli Trevi with some Ranger & Haebar gifted Hobbit Weed. Feeling over the moon right now, as I just watched Englands Lionesses reach the final of the women's world cup, by beating the Aussies 3-1. Woohoo. I hope everyone enjoys their day 😊

Good morning everyone. Up early as I have to meet the farrier at the ranch at 8:30. So only time for one bowl and a couple mugs of coffee. Having Shepherds Pie in a Sav Hercules 606EX bent billiard with Costa Rican blend coffee. Bought some new spray yesterday, lemon organic from Cutter. Got excellent reviews online. Seems to help but not 100%. The little buggers still light. They don't stay around but just having them crawl around for a second or two is annoying. Had another big rainstorm last night. Maybe if it dries up today that will help some. Guess I'll be smoking in the garage nook for a while, lol. Have a great day everyone.

Zip, I haven't followed the games but thought I saw on the news that the US ladies were in the finals?

They were buddy, but they crashed out in the group stages, failing to reach the quarter finals. It seems the rest of the world has finally caught up with your girls, after they had been so dominant for so long. The USA sees "Soccer"
(and its called football by the way) 😉.
as predominantly a women's game in America. Whereas the rest of the world it was played by men, and very few women. However Womens football has taken off giganticly, globally especially in the UK. And it is not only catching up with the USA, but now beginning to overtake it.
But I've no doubt, they will bounce back.

Typhoonish in a Bacchus meerschaum. Congrats @Zippo on your English women's team! When I was ten years old, I was in Dublin when they beat Italy in the World Cup, which was being held in San Francisco that year. The Irish were selling shirts that said, "We beat Italian *** on American grass!" The Italians made it to the finals that year, so it was a great victory.
