It's a 2007 Subaru Forester. The bulb I had to replace w was about 2 inches from the battery and has a cover that you can loosen but not remove for lack of clearance. Of course the battery was secured with rusted 10mm bolts!
We had an 05 Outback along the plugs that was a pain too. Hope it went well.

A couple of minutes away from smoking year 2016 Sutliff Revelation Match in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII Kingsway (Comoy’s) London Made 61 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Very nice Comoy Sir. A few years ago I bought a John Middleton Selbur bent pipe. I did some research on it and it turns out it was a late 1930s and Comoy made it. I found another one that was sold on *bay for a lot of money. I think I bought the one I have for under $20. I'm mainly a burley guy but I'm really digging these old timey blends with a little Latakia in it. I bought a few ounces of Revelation match two or three years ago and smoked it up in a couple weeks. I really liked it, so I bought more and stuffed it in a mason jar for a few months and it's even better. The only issue I have is it bites me a little.

Thanks! Everything except the corrugated plastic around the battery is back in and most importantly the headlight works!
That's great. I remember now that it was the PS headlight that was the most trouble requiring removal of the scoop shaped part of the air cleaner box. That was a pretty good car and went 200,000 plus miles, and we still got $3k out of it. As Holmes might say, that was a three pipe problem : -). They are hard to beat in the snow!

Good Afternoon my friends and fellow BoBs. Very late to the meeting today, my apologies. Today, which by the way is glorious. I'm going to fill a large bulldog bowl fitted to a Falcon, with some of Rangers awesome Urban Cowboy. And continue to enjoy this beautiful day, before heading down to the village, where Mrs Z and myself are having dinner and drinks in the Pub.
I hope everybody is having as awesome a day as I am 😊

He looks happy with his new family, not to mention he's damn cute! The Sheltie we adopted two years ago is also a Winston!
Thanks, checking his history, what little they had, discovered he was a stray found wandering in the streets of Yuma. Folks at the humane society in Yuma called him Buster. Puppy Luv changed it to Winston. Not sure why but he doesn't answer to either one, so wife wants to rename him Charlie, so he will be Charlie from now on. 😉

Close to finishing this bowl of early 2000s Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Did a set of walking reps on this hot and humid day, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am half way through this bowl of Dan Tobacco The Mallard Flake Plus Perique in a straight smooth brown 2017 unbranded Upshall Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Have enough left for most of a bowl. Watching the Cubs-Giants game. Larry's Espresso #9, neat, is my drink.

Ironically, I spent most of the day laboring out in the yard, mowing lawns, trimming back bushes, raking up leaves. I am done! Smoking a Poul Winslow Lovat with Larsen`s 1864 and a freshly ground & brewed mug of Pike place coffee. Wife wants to BBQ,It`s up to 90 degrees out there and I am not looking forward to going back out there!-Although, I am getting hungry,LOL!

Mid day codger smoke of CH in a cheapie Crown bent billiard with Earl Gray tea. Also sitting in the shade, lol. A warm 90 but not too bad as there is a breeze blowing. Heading to the Legion soon. Auxiliary ladies are putting on a fried chicken dinner for the holiday. Haven't had fried chicken since can't remember when.
