Enjoyed a bit of low calorie snacking, and am near the last quarter of this bowl of year 2002 F&T Cut Virginia Plug in a straight smooth brown 1920s LHS Purex double patent no. 1587048 and 19085630 Real Briar Root Silver Circle 42 apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Now smoking year 2010 Full Virginia Flake in a slight bend 1968 group 4S Dunhill Shell 475 cherrywood with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Just fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave. They wanted out as soon as they ate even though I had Sam and her scampers in lock down to avoid drama. Harry the Hairy's been here all day. Haven't seen Abner the Eager in two days, but that's not rare. He may have been here when I wasn't looking, though.

Last smoke of the day is 2019 Prince Albert in a 2020 smooth light brown, slight bent J. Everett straight grain chubby author with a spalted birch ferrule and a black saddle vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Reading baseball box scores.

Good morning,
It`s been a very busy week here, I have been doing a lot of yard work &we have been busy at the catering hall ,too. I was also still having a problem with squirrels in my attic crawl space! I have been out there watching them to see where they are getting in ! I first noticed that they chewed thru a plastic attic vent,so I had a buddy replace that, but they still got in. I had a roofer look at the roof, which is 10 yrs old,he tells me the roof is fine. I saw one getting in by the cable lines where they bent the siding back, they ate thru a 2x4, so I replaced the wood and screwed in a heavy metal plate. The town loaned me a couple of traps. I only heard 1 or 2 up there, the traps weren`t working! after mowing the lawn yesterday,I sat out there and watched with my pellet gun! a squirrel came out of another piece of bent siding,I squeezed off 5 shots, but I got him,I repaired the 2x4 and siding and it`s been quiet since!
Smoking a Pete Strand with MB 7 seas with a mug of DD hazelnut coffee.

@EZONSLOW we are dealing with squirrels too. They pried open a soffit to build a nest and and proceded to chew a hole in another location. We've had them trapped, and will (hopefully) soon have all possible entrances sealed. Sad, I used to enjoy watching the squirrels in our yard. No more. 😡

Good day friends. The wind died down again so I was able to smoke! I enjoyed a bowl of Newminster no.24 Imperial Nougat in my mm walking to work. Tastes like citrus and chocolate made sweet with hay. It's nice.
Yesterday we were hit with 30+ mph winds all day long so I couldn't get a pipe lit and my wife found herself sick of hearing me complain.
I'm drinking nice green tea as usual.
Squirrels can be a bother here as well. We have a couple types here and I always leave the native ones be and I shoot the invasive ones.

They are a real pest. Here's an interesting take on another use-food. I ate them as a kid on rare occasions. Check out the recipes.

Good morning, fellow BOBers. Cool and overcast is the billing for today. We got Mr Johnny Coltrane calmly laying it down so it's all good there. Starting the day off with a bowl of Skiff Mixture in an Ashton XXX pebble grain 3/4 bent billiard. I could be freaking the flip out on multiple fronts, but I'm not, as Mr. Coltrane would likely be less than impressed. Today I am choosing to be stoic and grateful. So it goes and let come what may. Here's to the day, gentlemen. Carry on.

Good morning gents. A little over half way through a bowl of Zippos recipe Tumbleweed in a Calabresi bent brandy with morning coffee. Have to go give Cochise his last round of meds this morning, then have an Honor Guard event this afternoon at the National Cemetery. 70 with a slight breeze so should be a nice day. When I worked for the airlines in Atlanta I had a room with a nice older lady. Her house was next to a forested area and squirrels were rampant. A couple of times a week I would sit on the back deck with a pellet gun and pop 2 or 3 of the little buggers. Skinned and cleaned them for her and she would make a great rabbit stew. Lol.
