Did a set of walking reps on this 104 heat index day, and have just over a quarter of a bowl left of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. At least there were some clouds in the sky. Just fed Harry the Hairy, and Tomato the Brave. Daisy the Feral Princess is eating now, and when she's done, I'll bring Abner the Eager in to eat.

I just hobbled back from the pain mgmt Dr., Nothing but bad news! They sent me for a useless x -rays to satisfy the health insurance co. so that I can get an MRI done tomorrow, gave me a list of spinal surgeons to pick from. I have been seeing this pm Dr for many years,he`s always been an upbeat guy. Today, after looking at my paperwork ,x-rays etc. he seemed very down & defeated-which is never good.
Anyway, Smoking a Bari Wiking freehand,Lane LL-7,mug of Horton`s,waiting for the meds to kick in again! I`m waiting for my wife to get home to discuss my next move. Sorry to be a downer, guys, but it has not been a good day.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a 1982 black sandblasted medium bend W.O. Larsen dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. It's been a long time since I smoked this very excellent pipe. It was the only Larsen pipe that I ever saw at the Tinderbox. Well worth the forty bucks I paid for it back then. Lavazza Classico, neat and strong, is my drink.

I'm very sorry to hear the sad news. Hope things will improve soon as possible.

Don't apologise. You're amongst friends here, all of whom wish you well and all of whom are genuinely interested in how you're doing. I hope I'm not speaking out of turn here, and mean no offence to those who have been members for a long time, but in my short time here, I've really found that this place does live up to its name - a 'brotherhood'. I certainly feel that I will certainly come here and speak to you guys if I ever suffer a personal misfortune. For what it's worth, know that my thoughts are very much with you.

I've passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Emptied the dishwasher, took out the recycle, fed Harry the Hairy, and did some cleaning on two estate pipes. Now, it's time to clean a few pipes. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Smoking my new Savinelli 310 ks trevi, Lane LL-7. After the sanding /honey treatment it`s finally smoking well. I am happy with this pipe now,but I will not a buy another new Savinelli.
I had the discussion with my wife about my back problem,it went well all things considered. I have not decided what to do yet as I need time to get multiple opinions from other Dr `s. I am waiting for approval for an MRI, which is my next step on this journey. Thank you for all the well wishes, guys!

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2018 D&R Windsail in an undated slight bent rusticated brown with a darker fumed top unbranded Micoli billiard with a white accented perpex ferrule, off center square shank and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style. This should get me to dinner time.

The weather at work was nice today: clear, 65-75, and a light breeze. Enjoyable light tasks and wonderful smoking weather. It made my back easy to deal with on what was a recovery day for me. I am sorry to hear you require more specialized investigation of your injury EZ, but I had an MRI of my spine three years ago and it gave my doctor much needed information for specific therapeutic options. It also gave me a better idea of the current state of my injury and helped me adapt accordingly. I hope you will see similar benefits and find some relief in a clear treatment path.
