Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2002 Reiner Long Golden Flake in a smooth dark brown quarter bend 1950s Comoy’s Blue Riband 187 yachtsman with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Currently, I am just finishing this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Cleaned a few pipes, and watched an old western movie.

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Daisy the Feral Princess doesn't want to come out of the high humid night. Tomato the Brave did, and is inside eating up a storm. Didn't see anybody else outside.

Last smoke of the day is Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Daisy the Feral Princess finally decided to come in to eat, and cool down. She tends to want out more in the summer time than any other time of the year. Harry the Hairy showed up to eat, and he got some attention, too. No Abner the Eager today.

Good morning my friends. No pipe this morning. Saw the oncologist yesterday and he said smoking and alcohol could exacerbate the tumor on my neck. Have to do chemo and radiation for it. So until that's done and it's gone won't be smoking. Will miss it but have to do what's best for my health. Will still follow you guys to see what's happening with the BoBs. Have a great day everyone.
Take care, and all the very best for your recovery.

Good morning BoBs! Had to change up my routine, no Mark Twain for my Breakfast of Champions. I decided to substitute MM 150th Anniversary crumble cake. Mmm, cake for breakfast! Just gonna coast for the day, no ambitions or obligations.

Warped King’s Stride in a Peterson rusticated standard system 302 with p-lip, as the resident dove watches me smoke. The pair were determined to build a nest while I was working on the deck, even trying it on ladder rungs. I felt for them, so screwed a 2x10 scrap piece to the underside of some joists and against the beam. They have successfully raised some youngins now.

@Swede, we have a similar issue with a pair of doves. They keep trying to build a nest on top of the curtain in this eave of our gazebo on the patio. We'd love to let them, but they leave a mess. They are remarkably persistant.

This morning is lovely and I'm enjoying KBV Burley Morning Pipe in a Jansen's N.O. bent volcano with saddle stem, along with a cup of coffee and book to read.

OK. I decided to try stuffing a half flake of Va Slices in my big Lorenzetti. I'll let everyone know how it goes, this could be a long smoke.

P.S.: It's going well, 90 minutes in +/-. Cooler smoke but equal to 2 regular portions.

P. P. S.:2 hours, this is a good way to smoke watching a movie, still cool with lots of flavour and still smooth, no bite or ashiness.

Wow! 2 hours 15 minutes, give or take, a first for me. Literally two regular pipes. No waste to speak of or dottle, just clean ash.

Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink on this hot and humid day. Watching McCloud.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with a golden delicious apple on the side. I'm near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Coffee from a freshly opened bag of Gold Star Peruvian Macchu Picchu, neat, is my drink.

Smoking a Sutliff Vanilla black Cavendish/Capt black gold mixture in a Pete Squire,Bottle of Pelligrino mineral water. I have a hard time getting the sutliff to stay lit, I let it dry ,tried different pipes, etc. This seems to be working so far... I have had similar problems with 2 other sutliff aro`s,I am done with Sutliff. I will stick with Lane & Stokkebye`s Aro`s.

Now smoking year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a post 2007 Castello straight brown Sea Rock KK US made in Cantu (Kimo) apple with a tapered black acrylic stem. Haven't smoked this pipe lately. Getting ready to watch the Braves-Mets game.

Passing the first third of this bowl of year 2013 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Running low on this bag, but I have a great replacement for it when I finish it.

I remember watching McCloud on visits to my grandparents' as a child. Fond memory of my family, my two youngest aunts, and my grandparents.
