I love Country Squire's tobaccos. At least the ones that I've had so far. I want to get a pound of one of three of the aros that I've picked. Which one do you like better. Indian Outlaw, Choctaw, or Cherokee? I've had Chesapeake which is good but I found it a little bitey. Can you tell me which one is smoother? Thank you!
Just to add my two cents worth Ralph, Choctaw is one of my goto faves, when I can get it, which is virtually impossible in the UK.

C&D Night Train in a B.G. Pipes (Bowling Green) house sitter that I bought a little over 40 years ago. It was one of the few "luxuries" that I could barely afford in college. It is a good smoker, and obviously needs 40 yo lava cleaning.

Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Just fed my cats, and will check on the ferals soon. Watching Mad Dog Russo. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Good Morning!
I haven't posted for a while, I've been alternating between Westminster in a Rob Roy and Abingdon in a Pride all weekend and it seems my posts were becoming redundant. It's a sunny chilly morning and all the animals are fed and watered. I'm enjoying my usual GLP Westminster in a bent MM Apple Diplomat along with a cup of coffee.
Nobody minds redundant smokes, buddy. We want your company. So does the IRS. 🤣

Yeah, I know what you mean. I really like Condor and we can't get it here in the states. A friend of mine's mother would bring it for me when she'd come here for Christmas, but she hasn't been here since covid. I'm missing it terribly.

@Balisong I hope people never think a post is redundant. We all have favourites, pipes and tobaccos and a daily routine. I like to see what people do during the day, even if it's the same as yesterday. I don't think a post has to be of a noteworthy or special event to be valued, it's the closest thing we have to a daily "how you doing?"

And I am decompressing from work. I have a Czechvar lager and my big Lorenzetti with a load of Oriental Silk. Gave notice today that I expect a significant wage increase to return to the course next year. I have six months to find something else if it gets passed over. The wage I receive is comparable with a lawn jockey at a mow-n-blow company. My responsibilities are so much greater than that, as are my knowledge and experience. So I said as much. Probably threw my fat in the fire but I am still young enough to have options. Told him I expect a reasonable offer by the end of the season.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a 1999 smooth brown medium bend Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baskerville with a sterling silver band and black vulcanite p-lip stem. Giving the 4AB Natural a day of rest. Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink.

Did a second set of walking reps with less sunlight, and have about a quarter of a bowl left of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem. Tomato the Brave kept coming up to me when I'd come down the street asking for a head scratch. Harry the Hairy stood guard at the end of the driveway as usual. Daisy the Feral Princess was laying by the steps of the back deck. Abner the Eager showed up when I started to leave, and I brought him in to eat. He's snoozin' on m'lady's lap. Molly Danger is snoozin' under the covers in the bed room, and Sleepy Suzy is half asleep by my side. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Now smoking year 2021 HU Directors Cut in a black quarter bend 1970s GBD Prehistoric Rhodesian 9438 with a perspex saddle stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in a long time. Watching the Braves-Reds game.

For whatever reason, I thought that you were a teacher until the It's A Living thread.
Do you do something else during the lengthy winter abeyance?

I'm intrigued by that stem. It's striking.

The weather in the Bluegrass today has been lovely. I'm taking in the sunset smoking Wilke Royal Admiral in a 1994 Peterson Sherlock Holmes Mycroft with fishtail stem. I'm drinking Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch Bourbon over ice (an excellent value bourbon). I'm listening to my own "Thoughtful Soundtracks" playlist on Spotify.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, cod and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm near the first third of this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Mr. Christian’s Brown Flek 2021 in a 1984 smooth brown full bend Peterson Mark Twain military mount egg with a silver cap and tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Watching the Braves-Reds game with Sleepy Suzy by my side. Molly Danger is with m'lady. Molly still doesn't come out much, so I often bring her out of the bedroom to be with us in the den.
