Ream-n-Klean Fluffy Tails are my favorite pipe cleaner for a thorough semi-annual scrubbing. Now I can't find them anywhere. They're not even in the P&C sample packs any more. Assuming they're gone forever, can anyone recommend a rigid, tapered, bristled pipe cleaner?

Oh great. Now I'm gonna be haunting Ebay for the rare, out-of-production, and now over priced Fluffy Tails.
One year from now: "I have Penzance to trade! Anyone?...Anyone?.........."

"Fluffy Tails" sounds like a raunchy porno moniker.

I've never heard of those cleaners, though. Got a picture?

Hmmm "Fluffy Tails", I thought that was what the waitresses at the Playboy Club back in the 60's were called  If they are not made anymore, then what you might find are gonna be a "vintage" collectable and will be priced at 10 times what they used to sell for  Find some and you will "be the man" who smokes "vintage pipes" and uses "vintage pipe clnrs." Way ta go George

Fluffy tails were the greatest .. I haven't seen them in a while though. Then again I haven't looked at tobacco stuff in two or three years.

Um, okay. Hang on a sec...wait...what the?...
Oh, for the love of...

Figures. The first pic in a Google image search is this:

Alright. Here's the last of the real Fluffy Tails:

GK's "furry secret" is out.

Are the Fluffy Tail cleaners that yellow, or do you recycle?

Never seen 'em before.

They're bright yellow with red bristles. If I'd known I was using the last of them, I might have considered recycling them.

Thanks for doing the leg work, Kyle. That WVSmokeshop has a good price on them but the business itself seems a little sketchy. Idunno. I really don't want to be the guy that cellars pipe cleaners. Time to move on. Damn, though, I really did love my Fluffy Tails. :(

I've ordered pipes, tobacco, and cases of those fluffy tail pipecleaners from WV Smokeshop... it's been a while, but they were on the square when I dealt with 'em. The dead last place I could find Edgeworth. Site is a little rinky-dink, admittedly. A favorite business of the much-missed Justpipes, too.

Doing some domain searching and business-fact-checking online, the WV tobacco place seemed to be the best of the "questionable unknowns," they seemed to be on the level. I always look up the relative legitimacy of sites like that...and the domain has been around for a long time (not just a year). If you want Fluffy Tails, I say go for it. Especially if Doc used the place and they did right by him.

I just might. Earlier, Greyson spotted me a possible Gawith-Hoggarth brand replacement. So shall I be a vintage pipe cleaner snob, or an import pipe cleaner snob? Either notion makes me want to taint-punch myself.

Okay, just making sure that's what you really posted. Whatever gets you through the apparent Beavis & Butthead moment.

I could have responded "...pictures, or it didn't happen..." I'll just assume it happened.

I've also purchased a good bit of tobacco from them. They typically have the best price around on Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake

These might be a suitable replacement for Fluffy Tails.

Edit: Oops, sorry. Just realized this thread is several months old.
Thank you, roadrunner. I learned of the B.J. Long tapered bristles just after buying up some old stock Fluffy Tails, so I should be set for a while. One question for you though:
I know nothing about you aside from the scant information in your profile, so I'm gonna stick my neck out and just assume you're the kind of guy who can take a little teasing.
You've been a member of this forum for nearly four years, and in all that time the very first thing to pique your interest enough to warrant a response is a nearly dormant thread about pipe cleaners? :p I've got three words for you...

Welcome Aboard, Brother!
