Bub, if I were you I'd buy the Castello that sells for $1045.00. :D If I were me, and I am, I'd buy a much less expensive pipe. Acutally I really liked the Ser-Jacopo Van Gogh Calabash with the whitish looking bit and silver ring. Good looking pipe and out of the norm but it's still out of my range. Have fun making a decision! Mull over it a couple days, impulse buying always gives me a guilty feeling for an hour or two. :lol!:

Thanks for your help Falconer, I don't have to buy it and I hope that I don't.
I don't like feeling guilty either.

As my dad used to say, "if you keep looking it's called lusting" of course that was on another shape all together.

Although I think it's cool as hell that SJ's have a J on the stem.
Albeit a small part, for me, the "J" on the stem is a part of its overall appeal! :D

I find this tread very interestin because there is such diversity in the pipes that people like. I also find it interesting because so many like the Ser Jacopo pipes. I like them also because the shapes are visually so interesting. Initilay, I thought people would have been attracted to the Castello pipes because of their reputation. Another observation and speaking only for myself, I can't go out and buy any of them.
