Just cracked a tin of Wison's Jasmine.

Gooooood stuff. Pleasant to take, pleasant little burn, nice nicotine kick. The aroma is absolutely fantastic, and with just a normal sized pinch in each nostril the scent lingers for approximately 4 days (ok, in all seriousness I can still smell it as I'm typing and I took a pinch nearly 45 minutes ago).

I've had a few floral scented snuffs and this one, in my opinion, the best by quite a margin. I don't know how many of you guys like the floral stuff, but I'd say if you like the rose snuffs, you might want to give this a shot. I can see this quickly becoming my go-to springtime snuff.

Of course it's made by Wilson's, so you'll need either the jaws of life or the patience of a saint to get the tin open, but that's nothing new.

I was wondering if I was the only one. I recently picked up some Wilson's apple black currant, and I had a nightmare opening it. I had the brilliant idea to use the tip of a knife to pry around the outside. I eventually jabbed it into my finger, but once the bleeding stopped, it was an enjoyable snuff.

Yep...once I pry the suckers open the contents go right into a snuff or smash box.

Wilson's 10g tins are much easier to open.  Perhaps they're trying to tell us something.  :p

With the small 5g tins, try pinching one side of the tin a bit while gently shimmying it loose. Most of the time is works for me, but if I get a real stubborn one, I usually transfer the the content of the small tins to one of my plastic snap shut containers. The ones from lacons keep snuff fresh for months.

I assess the tin opening like I do a golf ball.

Calmly.
Assess the lie.
Take a deep breath.
Approach the tin.
Swing your club, keep your eyes on the tin and let your follow through pick up your eyes.
Watch as the tin goes into a water hazard.
Cuss.
Buy a larger tin.

a sand wedge with an open face and open stance. hit roughly two inches behind the ball with a three quarters swing. let the club and sand do the work.

I just came into some snuff and jasmine snuff was included.

Back story, I used to love jasmine. I drank gallons of jasmine tea. Then I was working landscape at a community college campus and they had jasmine beds. I had to trim them all the time. The aroma was so sickly strong it really put me off. I'd get the sap on me and it would be with me all day. I began to hate jasmine. It's like the only floral I hated. This opinion stood for over a decade.

I got my snuff bomb and was showing it to my wife. She was curious what snuffs smelled like. I opened one at random and let her smell the aroma. Whoa, way to strong, put her off. So I looked back in the bin and saw jasmine. I figured she might like that one and opened it and presented it to her. Not really. She wasn't really impressed with the snuffs. When closing the lid I got a bit on the side of my hand. Waste not want not! I drew the part of my hand with the snuff on it under my nose in a left to right swipe while inhaling. Not a proper pinch but I got a light hit of it. AHA MOMENT!!! This was the first time in over a decade I've found jasmine pleasant in any way and on snuff it was beyond pleasant and awesome. A life changer.

That's my story.
