Yard sale find today..

Ok, first I have a thing that I need to confess.... I am a yard sale-aholic. Picked up this little gem for 10 bucks and figured it was a great place to store my unopened tins. Please excuse the messy room :affraid:

That is a sweet find Fatman, especially for the paltry sum of $10! There is no telling what kind of grain might be hiding under that blue paint. 8)

I'm not so keen on the color, but that is one amazing find for ten bucks. You could always strip it down and stain it.

Great find and only $10, absolutely awesome Buddy.

If you get the time on your hands and can be bothered with it, strip it down and give it a nice deep brown/red stain then wax it, try to keep the gold accents, it will look stunning mate. :cheers:

When and if it warms up I will most likely strip it to bare wood and stain it, if I do I will make sure to post the updates. Although it can't be all that chilly, I put 2 pork shoulders in the smoker and will be making pulled pork to take to work tomorrow!

You might want to look at glazes and it would be a lot less detail work in the cubbyholes.
