anyone recognize this shape? or could anyone date this pipe? I am positive it is not the original stem, which sucks but the pipe is still cool looking

That design goes back to the late 19th century. If (since) it's probably
stamped Made in the Republic of Ireland (i.e., 1949 or after),
that's about all she wrote on that.

thanks Yak thats about all the info I can find on that  , it seems older, i thought maybe the way they had the K&P and the word peterson on the band might be a clue
