For the kid in me, "Up on the House Top" and "Here Comes Santa Claus" by Alvin and the Chipmunks.
For pure listening enjoyment, "Silver Bells" performed on a hammered dulcimer is tops with "Mary's Boy Child" performed Caribbean style (steel drums, etc.) a very close second.
I just heard it today I believe Kenny Rogers sings the song I think the title is Mary, it is one of the most beautiful song I ever heard
Best Regards
Richard
It's not Christmas without Burl Ives' "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas".
But I also love this one:

The title is 'Mary did you know'.. By Kenny and Wynonna..
A bunch of others has performed it and it is a good song.. But I think they are the ones that get played on the radio...
For whatever its worth: its my wifes Favorite Song, period, not favorite christmas song, just favorite song..
Yep, "The Christmas Song" by Mr. Cole is one of my favorites. As is Bing's "White Christmas".
I've always liked Silver Bells, Silent Night, and What Child is This.
"Mary Did You Know" was written (co-written, actually) by Mark Lowry, who sings with the Gaither Vocal Band. He does a beautiful version of the song, as does Kathy Mattea.
"O Come, All Ye Faithful".....at church, sung at midnight Mass with the choir in procession, people in every pew, incense thick in the air, and me at the organ sweating bullets (because if I miss a note with all the stops pulled, everybody will notice).
Outside of that, Bing's "White Christmas" is my favorite.
