Went for a walk at Blackheath out to Govett's Leap the other day, a beautiful part of the world even it was a bit drizzly.

The wind was strong enough to blow a not insubstantial waterfall sideways.

Of course, on a sunny day, the sand stone is multihued as the silica reflects the light.

All the vegetation you see in the valley has regrown since this time last year when it was burnt by the bushfires.

A beautiful area in NSW all right. I almost got to go there when I was in the area, years ago. Wish I had. I ended up with a SCUBA tank on my back instead.

A SCUBA tank in the mountains? Caving somewhere?

And thanks gents, I'll get some photos from my local lookout soon and post them too. No where near as spectacular but still impressive.

I'm around a third of the way up the mountains, Blackheath is near the top.

What? Oh, no, no mountain diving. LOL. We had our pick of driving up into the mountains for the day or doing a SCUBA lesson and dive in some bay near Sydney. I think it might have been Chowder Bay. It’s been a LONG time...like in ‘71.

Ahhh, I get you now. Chowder Bay is also a lovely part of the world, had many a picnic there and the fish and chip shop does great grub.
