I’ve been using one for about a year and I’ve been happy with it. Nice to not have to refill as often as lighter fluid and the flame is a little softer and smaller, so it’s a bit easier to direct. I would generally say I’m in favor and supportive of it. I’d get another if mine broke or got lost.

Haven’t tried those, but I do like scones. Might have to keep an eye out next time I’m in TJ’s (which is not very often, unfortunately, since my nearest one is almost an hour away).

I haven’t had this one yet, but I’ve been pleased with all the blends I’ve tried from CS. Their Old Toby (now tombigbee) is my go-to smoke for around people. The aroma is enticing, not offensive, to non-smokers. And one of the few aromatics that I also enjoy smoking.

Petersons Junior lines might also be a good choice. Generally smaller dimensions and lighter pipes. I agree with the others that bent is easier to clench when working with your hands.
